I am just sitting in the San Diego, heading home from the #30dchome event. I am exhausted, but I am making my action plan now.
Side note: Did you know that the airport here has rocking chairs and free wi-fi for your lounging comfort? Brilliant!
@ed_dale and the gang put on a great conference. I came with the goal of coming home with a few takeaways and action plans for my business, but I got so much more than that.
In addition to meeting old friends (some for the first time in person), I made plenty of new ones. Thanks for all that you shared with me.
Making my action plan won’t be too hard because I was prepared to create it before I arrived. My strategy is to take individual notes on each speaker (but only taking note of things that are of value to MY business and that is new information)…but the more important key, is my action plan page. I kept one single page where I had a list of specific action items I was going to take after this weekend.
At first, the list was managable, but now it’s one big tangled mess because I just got so much out of everything. But no matter, while I wait for boarding I am reworking that list.
How I will rework the list:
* Remove things that seemed ingenious at the time, but maybe not anymore.
* Flesh it out a but more with specific action steps.
* Indicate what I will complete, what my graphic designer, VA and tech gal will complete. I plan to make their list much longer than mine.
* Set some deadlines for completion.
Clearly, I have got a lot to organize here, so I’ll get right back to it. Hope to be seeing you again soon!
P.S. This post was created entirely by using my iPhone.

You’re braver than I am to type that much on your iPhone! LOL!
Sounds like you had a great time – I wish I could have been there Alice. Any chance that we can tempt you out to Atlanta in August?
Hey Kelly…I am brave, I guess. Certainly, many typos! Ed shared a lot of great strategies for using the iPhone for productivity. It was AWESOME!
I don’t know if I would be making it…you’re talking about NAMS? I hear it’s great stuff. I think this trip will do me for a while…plus Atlanta in August sounds melty.
Hi Alice,
Great to meet you in person – lots to think about post #30dchome. Take care.
Simon
So happy to finally meet you in person. Was super bummed I didn’t get to hang out longer but my clutch went out in my car while heading downtown yesterday. Argggg.
I’m glad you had a good time and got some good business takeaways.
Cheers
Jason
Great meeting you, Alice! And so glad you blogged about the conference. Hope our paths cross again in the future, but I know we will keep in touch online at least.
I miss “the gang” already.
I’m new to your site — heard about you from Kelly on WAHMTalk Radio. LOVE seeing your notes from your conference. I’m such a huge note-taker that it always tickles me to see what others write, and how they scribe it all.
